About Us
Philadelphia Solar USA (PS-USA) is a joint venture between Philadelphia Solar and Translucent Energy, two companies with a proven track record of success in the solar industry. Founded in Summer 2022, PS-USA is dedicated to manufacturing high-quality, Tier-1-produced photovoltaic modules for the U.S. market.
Together, PS-USA offers a full range of utility to residential-grade PV modules to solar developers in the U.S. market. Their strategic partnership brings them closer to future expansion plans for a U.S.-based manufacturing facility. They plan to complete a 1.2GW manufacturing line for U.S.-made mono-PERC modules by Q4 2024, with plans to transition to state-of-the-art heterojunction-process modules by 2025.
The alliance of Translucent Energy and Philadelphia Solar ensures that solar developers have access to the quality modules they need to reach energy independence in the U.S. market with greater speed and optimal efficiency. PS-USA is committed to manufacturing high-quality, USA-made solar panels to contribute to a sustainable future.
